TERMINAL ACCESS METHOD IN MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORK BASED ON CS-3 OF BROADBAND INTEGRATED SERVICES DIGITAL NETWORK

PURPOSE: A terminal access method in mobile telecommunication network based on CS(Chip select)-3 of BISDN(Broadband Integrated Services Digital Network) is provided to maintain an access time to a mobile terminal at a minimal state and remove the time delay taken in disconnecting the access. CONSTITUTION: When there is an access call setup with a mobile terminal, a HLR(Home Location Register) acquires a routing information and transmits a call setup request message to a VLR(Visitor location register) of an incoming call side. The VLR of the incoming call side determines whether the mobile terminal is in a standby state. When it is determined that the mobile terminal is in the standby state, the VLR transmits the call setup request message to an exchanger of the incoming call side while when it is determined that the mobile terminal is not in the standby state or is in a state that can not receive services, the VLR refuses the call setup and generates a line-busy call. Thus, the method can decrease the time delay by first determining whether or not it is possible to communicate with the terminal.
