摘要 PURPOSE: A reduction control method of exhaust gas of a parallel hybrid electric vehicle is provided to reduce exhaust gas without changing the driving force of a vehicle if a driver steps on an accelerator pedal rapidly. CONSTITUTION: A reduction of exhaust gas of a parallel hybrid electric vehicle is controlled by the steps of: detecting the current accelerator pedal depth, the current throttle opening and the current engine torque; calculating the target throttle opening, the target motor torque and the target engine torque according to the current accelerator pedal depth; setting the target throttle opening as the throttle opening command value and the target motor torque as the motor torque command value if the difference between the current throttle opening and the target throttle opening is within a permitted limit of the throttle opening target value; and setting the sum of the target motor torque and the motor torque increment as the motor torque command value by calculating the motor torque increment by dividing the difference between the target engine torque and the current engine torque by a second specific value.
