PURPOSE: A method is provided to express a two-dimension object image without being influenced by a circumstance existing at a nonlinear characteristic. CONSTITUTION: The method for generating a descriptor of a two-dimension object image comprises the steps of: obtaining an outline of an object image included in the picture (500); obtaining the coordinates of n points to which the outline is equally divided (510); obtaining a tracing constancy amount by the coordinates (520); moving the n-divided points by the same length along the outline to obtain a tracing constancy amount by the coordinates of the moved n-divided points (530); and repeating the step of moving until the moved n-divided points reaches the coordinates of the step of obtaining the coordinates of n points to which the outline is equally divided.
