PURPOSE: An air cooling type heat pump is provided to perform continuous heating according to the unnecessary of the reverse cycle driving in defrosting driving by removing the frost of an outdoor heat exchanger by using the heat of a heat accumulation part defrosting driving. CONSTITUTION: An air cooling type heat pump is composed of: a compressor(51) changing the coolant in gaseous state of low pressure and low temperature to high pressure and high temperature; a four direction valve(52) sending the coolant flowing out of the compressor; an expansion device(54) to expand the condensed liquid coolant to solid and liquid mixed type two phase coolant having low temperature and low pressure; an evaporation piece to change the tow phase coolant to gaseous state by absorbing the exterior heat; a heat accumulation piece(60) to supply heat to the coolant flowing in an outdoor heat exchanger(53) in defrosting driving after absorbing the heat of the coolant and to remove the frost formed on the outdoor heat exchanger; an outdoor fan(57) installed on the side of the outdoor heat exchanger to improve the heat exchange efficiency by blowing air to the heat exchanger; and an indoor fan(56) to vent the air heated or cooled by heat exchange indoors. The air cooling type heat pump defrosts while continuously performing heating driving without reverse cycle driving for the frost removing when frost is on the outdoor heat exchanger when driving heating low temperature driving.
