发明名称 METHOD FOR SURFACE TREATING OF TIRE STEEL CORD
摘要 PURPOSE: A processing method is provided to improve the adhesive force between a corresponding steel code and rubber by heating solid sulfur capable of directly combining with rubber while vulcanizing over a certain temperature to evaporate and depositing on the surface of the steel cord. CONSTITUTION: Solid sulfur is heated at the temperature of a range of 115.6 to 160°C, then solid sulfur evaporates, and the evaporated sulfur is deposited in the thickness of 20 to 100 angstrom on the surface of the steel code so as to treat the surface of the tire steel code. Accordingly, since the interface adhesive force between the steel cord and the rubber is increased by depositing sulfur on the brass layer of the tire steel code, the characteristic of the rubber is improved by decreasing the content of sulfur mixed in the rubber for adhering the present steel code in saturation, and the durability of the tire is improved by reducing an exfoliation event.
