<p>The invention concerns a device for locking/unlocking a pressure cooker with lug-bayonet type closure comprising: stop means rotating on the lid (3) relative to the bowl, arranged such that the lid (3) and the bowl are locked in rotation in the rotational direction corresponding to the appliance closure; means for relatively locking (10) the lid (3) and the bowl mounted mobile on the appliance by the action of control means capable of being actuated by the user, between at least an unlocking position and at least a locking position. The invention is characterised in that the locking means (10) are mounted mobile in translation along the bowl wall (1A) in the zone between the ramps so that in locking position it is flush with the lateral edge of a ramp of the bowl (2).
