PURPOSE: The sanitary napkin is provided which prevents the leakage of the secretion such as the menstrual blood during sleeping or lying down by using an absorptive cloth connected to the rear of sanitary napkin. CONSTITUTION: The sanitary napkin as figure 1 comprises an absorbent (12) which absorbs the secretion including the menstrual blood and fixes it in the form of the gel, an upper cover (14) which makes the secretion to be absorbed to the absorbent, a lower cover (16) which prevents the leakage of the secretion, and an absorptive cloth (20) which is connected with the rear of the sanitary napkin (10). The thickness of the absorptive cloth is thick enough to absorb the leakage of the secretion from the rear of the sanitary napkin and to be foldable softly. The width of the absorptive cloth is narrower than that of the sanitary napkin, so that the absorptive cloth is inserted into the groove formed in the central part of user's hips.
