PURPOSE: An accumulator of a rotary compressor is provided to improve the entire performance of the compressor by reducing the increase of a fluid noise and stably fixing a screen. CONSTITUTION: An accumulator of a rotary compressor is composed of: a projection unit(100) projected in a semi-circular shaped on the inner side of a coolant inflow hole as the central part of a screen holder(104). Herein, the end of the screen holder is folding-processed in multi-steps so that the outline of the screen(103) is forcibly inserted and fixed, and the center of the screen is fixed by a point-welding in the projection unit. In addition, the noise generation can be reduce through the reduction of pressure since the projection unit is formed around the area where the cooling gas collides, flowed in the accumulator from an evaporator.
