BUS CLOCK FREQUENCY TRANSFERRING METHOD

PURPOSE: A bus clock frequency transferring method is provided to enhance the function of the system by changing the frequency of the bus clock without re-booting. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a step of turning on the power of the computer system(S60); a step of setting the frequency at the clock occurring period with the frequency set at the BIOS(S61); a step of operating the system with the set frequency(S62); a step of carrying out the frequency adjusting program(S63); a step of selecting the frequency(S64); a step of carrying out of the frequency set up(S65); a step of changing the clock frequency(S66); a step of detecting whether the system operates normally or not(S67); a step of storing the set frequency information(S68); a step of re-using the system(S69); a step of detecting whether the system is under the holt condition or not(S70); and a step of turning off the power of the system in case the system is in holt condition(S71).
