PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic plate material holding device capable of easily fixing a metallic material for an analyzing sample cut-off device and having improved workability and safety. SOLUTION: A pair of lower fixing jigs 11a, 11b are arranged on a base 10 at a distance, upper fixing jigs 14a, 14b are vertically movably placed on the lower fixing jigs 11a, 11b, and a metallic plate is pinched between the upper and lower fixing jigs. Clamp devices 18, 20, 22 and 23 for pressing the upper fixing jigs against the lower fixing jigs 11a, 11b are provided.
