PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high crushing performance with a first crushing member and a second crushing member respectively being rotated at relatively low speeds by hitting a material to be crushed fed from a feeding port against the first crushing member subjected to rotary driving in the forward direction to give it impact and also hitting it against the second crushing member subjected to rotary driving in the backward direction to give it impact. SOLUTION: This crusher has a first rotating shaft 21 arranged, freely rotatably supported on the side of one end part of a housing 1, and subjected to rotary driving in the forward direction by a rotary driving device 7, a second rotating 22 arranged, freely rotatably supported on the side of the other end part of the housing 1, and subjected to rotary driving in the backward direction by the rotary driving device 7, a first crushing member 4 fitted to the first rotating shaft 21, and a second crushing member 5 fitted to the second rotating shaft 22. A material to be crushed fed from a feeding port 1a is crushed by the first crushing member 4 subjected to rotary driving in the forward direction and also it is crushed by the second crushing member 5 subjected to rotary driving in the backward direction to discharge the crushed material from a discharge port 1b.
