PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internally threaded fishing rod that has a simple structure and permits a fishing line to be easily inserted therein. SOLUTION: This fishing rod comprises a base rod 1 and a first intermediate rod 2 that is arranged on the ear tip side of the base rod 1 and linked to the base rod 1 in a swing out manner. The first intermediate rod 2 is filled with a bottom stopper 20 at the rod end on the rod base side. The bottom stopper 20 has a tubular body 21 that is fitted to the base side of the first intermediate rod 2 and has a through hole 21a bored in the axis direction of the rod 2 and a liaison part 23 that is formed in succession to the tubular body 21 and has an inclination 23a formed so that the through-hole 21a may communicate to a fishing line-introducing hole 7 at the rod base edge, when the first intermediate rod 2 is pulled out of the base rod 1 to the ear tip side and is fixed by fitting.
