<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity by feeding a flap superposed on at least one position of a sheet in a lateral direction and continued in a longitudinal direction, bringing it into pressure contact between a lengthy roll and a short length roll, and fusion bonding the flap to the sheet with hat air. SOLUTION: A fusion bonding apparatus with hot air positions a flap fed at the same speed as that of a feeding sheet at a predetermined position, superposes the flap on the sheet, guiding the flap, moves a hot air supply nozzle movable in a lateral direction between the sheet and the flap, and supplies hot air to heat a fusion bonding surface. Then, the apparatus presses the sheet and the flap by a lengthy roll 2 supported from a lower part of the sheet and a short length roll 5 suspended from a frame 4 to hot air fusion bond the flap to the sheet. Since the thus provided roll 5, a sealing guide 6 and the nozzle 7 can be installed in arbitrary numbers at arbitrary positions of the frame 4, a lengthy flap fusion bonding sheet in which the flaps of arbitrary number are fusion bonded at the arbitrary positions of the lateral direction of the sheet and continued in the longitudinal direction can be manufactured.</p> |
