<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert an internal prosthesis to the distal end of a catheter as quickly as possible while assisting sure and aseptic operation by providing an outlet opening reduced in diameter on a housing in order to radially compress the internal prosthesis. SOLUTION: A closing cap 70 is screw removed, a piston 55 is protruded, and an individual internal prosthesis 1 to be inserted to the tube cavity 18 of an external catheter 15 is inserted into the inner chamber 60' of a housing 60. Thereafter, the piston 55 is inserted, and the closing cap 70 is screw fitted thereto again. The internal prosthesis 1 whose rear end 5 is adjacent to the end surface 55' of the piston 55 is moved by the arrowed directional Y movement of a piston, reduced in the diameter by the action of a slide wall 68 together with a front end 4 situated on the opposite side, and pushed into the tube cavity 18 of the external catheter 15 through the through-hole 67 of a head part 65. A sleeve 3 provided on the circumference of the internal prosthesis 1 is formed of plastic having the most suitable sliding characteristic.</p> |
