PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multifunctional nonwoven cloth having persistent deodorizing property, antibacterial property, mildewproofing property, etc., and usable as clothes, materials for chair, sofa, seat of vehicle, wall covering material, shoes, etc., by fixing a photocatalytic semiconductor in a state separated from a nonwoven cloth composed of ultrafine fibers. SOLUTION: The objective nonwoven cloth composed of ultrafine fibers having a single fiber fineness of <=0.5 de and preferably containing >=10 wt.% of a polyurethane resin is produced by fixing preferably 0.03-10 wt.% of a photocatalytic semiconductor in a state separated from the nonwoven cloth. |
