PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of air-conditioning so as to obtain comfortableness while suppressing the consumption of energy. SOLUTION: When the one-touch economy button of a remote controller is pushed down during the operation of an air conditioner, setting temperature is set to 28.5 deg.C when a current operating mode is a cooling operation, to 20.5 deg.C when it is a heating operation or to room temperature when it is a dry operation or an automatic operation (steps 200 to 208). Then, current setting is lowered (step 210). In the case of the cooling operation, upper and lower flaps are set to perform fluctuating swing based on a 1/f fluctuation (steps 212, 214). Further, when air volume is not high during the heating operation, a fluctuating air supply based on the 1/f fluctuation is controlled (steps 216, 218). Further, in the case of the dry operation mode, the operating frequency of a compressor is lowered by 4 Hz (steps 220, 222). |
