PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic polycarbonate resin composition exerting a high inhibitory effect on molecular weight decrease and a high impact resistance, wherein decrease in the viscosity average molecular weight of the resin composition caused by thermal decomposition at extrusion, molding, etc., is inhibited, which is an aromatic polycarbonate resin composition prepared using titanium dioxide, which usually exerts disadvantages such as decrease in molecular weight and low impact resistance. SOLUTION: An aromatic polycarbonate resin composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. aromatic polycarbonate resin (component A), (B) from 0.01 to 5 pts.wt. titanium dioxide (component B) which, when added to an aromatic polycarbonate resin at an amount of 3 wt.%, causes a 2,000 or more decrease in the viscosity average molecular weight of the aromatic polycarbonate resin and (C) from 0.02 to 1 pts.wt. partial ester (component C) of a higher fatty acid and a polyhydric alcohol.
