PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form the bottom face of a plastic bag in a perfectly rectangular shape when it is opened. SOLUTION: At the bottom edge 6 of a body material, a bottom face forming parts 2a, 2b of an inserting material are inserted between both layers 1a, 1b of the body material. At both side edges 7 of the body material, the side gusset forming parts 3a, 3b of the insertion material are inserted between both layers of the body material. One layer of the bottom face forming parts 2a, 2b and one layer of the body material, and the other layer of the bottom face forming parts 2a, 2b and the other layer of the body material are heat sealed along the bottom edge of the body material for connecting. One layer of the side gusset forming part 3a, 3b and one layer of the body material, and the other layer of the side gusset forming part 3a, 3b and the other layer of the body material are heat sealed along both side edges of the body material for connecting.
