AMMONIA-CATCHING WALL PAPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ammonia-catching wall paper which has a catching function of unpleasant ammonia and is troubleless even when incineration disposal is performed. SOLUTION: A foamed plastic layer 3, a pattern printing layer 4 and a surface protective layer 5 are successively provided on the surface on one side of backing paper 2. The foamed plastic layer 3 is obtained by applying aqueous emulsion coating containing an unfoamed microcapsule type foaming agent and thereafter heating and foaming the same. Also, in a laminate in which the surface protective layer 5 is formed of an aqueous emulsion, an ammonia- catching agent is added to at least one of the foaming plastic layer 3 and the surface protective layer 5.
