<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dry a food keeping the characteristic color, flavor and taste of the food while maintaining the drying temperature within an optimum drying zone with reduced power consumption without using a thermoregulator. SOLUTION: A food P1 is irradiated with far infrared rays of 7-12μm wavelength using a self-temperature controlling far infrared plane heater 1 and dried at a drying temperature of 45-70 deg.C. The food can be dried while keeping its characteristic color, flavor and taste, the drying temperature can be maintained within the optimum drying temperature zone without using a thermoregulator and the power consumption can be reduced.</p> |
