PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device, a printing device, a cutting method and a printing method, capable of improving the operating rate. SOLUTION: When a rotary blade 60a cuts a web W, a rotary blade 61a retracts from the web W. When the sharpness of the rotary blade 60a is deteriorated, the rotary blade 60a retracts from the web W after the rotary blade 61a is brought into contact with the web W. Therefore, the rotary blade 60a can be changed while the rotary blade 61a cuts the web W. While, the sharpness of the rotary blade 61a is deteriorated, the rotary blade 61a retracts from the web W after the rotary blade 60a is brought into contact with the web W. The rotary blade 61a can be changed while the rotary blade 60a cuts the web W. Therefore, the web W can be continuously cut by changing the rotary blades 60a and 60b without stopping the flow of the web W. |
