PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure of steering hanger bracket that ensures transmission of impact to G sensor when the vehicle is hit by some object and prevents the impact load from pushing the steering wheel rearward. SOLUTION: In the structure where a pedal bracket 11 and a steering hanger bracket 5 are connected with an extension member 20 having a plurality of bent portions e to g and angle in its side view, the bent portion g at the portion for connecting the steering hanger bracket 5 is located rearward of the vehicle from the leading end of the steering hanger bracket 5. Other bent portions e, f are provided at positions higher than the connecting portion of the steering hanger bracket 5. When a large load is exerted to the vehicle from the front, the bent portion g acts to pull the steering hanger bracket 5 forward. |
