PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for a thrust needle type roller bearing capable of preventing deformation of the holder due to heat treatment, reducing production of a defective article at the time of heat treatment and reducing cost. SOLUTION: Waveforms 2c, 2d, 2e for restraint of heat deformation are provided concentrically with each of pockets 1p on the inner diametrical sides of the pockets 1p of a holder 1 for a thrust needle type roller bearing on which a difference between length in the radial direction of the pockets 1p provided on a ring part and width of the ring part is comparatively large. Or, a recessed bottomed hole for restraint of heat deformation is provided on the inner diametrical sides of the pockets 1p of the holder 1.
