PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermo-sensitive belt tensioner capable of suppressing the fluctuation of the belt tension resulting from changing engine temp. using a simple configuration and free of inclining of a tension pulley even if the thermo-sensitive member is made of a low rigidity substance such as synthetic resin. SOLUTION: Two ends of a link 5 made of high rigidity material are engaged with bearings of a tension pulley 1, and to one of the link ends the other end of a supporting member 6 equipped with an initial tension adjusting function whose one end is secured to an engine casing is joined rotatably while the other end of a thermo-sensitive member 7 whose one end is fixed to the engine casing inside a belt loop is rotatably joined with the other end of the link 5, and thereby the tension pulley 1 is displaced through the link 5 by the thermal expansion and contraction of the member 7 so as to suppress the variation of the belt tension, and also the tension pulley 1 is prevented from inclining by supporting the load originating from belt tension acting on the tension pulley 1 by the link 5 and supporting member 6.
