PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain ammonia-capturing wall paper that has excellent surface physical properties, in addition, has the function to capture household smells as ammonia by laminating a foamed resin layer, a designed pattern-printed layer, a transparent resin film layer and an ammonia-capturing layer on the lining paper in turn. SOLUTION: The foamed resin layer 3 and the designed pattern-printed layer 4 are laminated on one face of the lining paper 3, further a transparent resin film layer such as ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin is formed thereon. When necessary, the transparent resin film layer 5 is embossed on its surface and the surface is coated with a resin composition containing an ammonia- capturing agent to form the ammonia-capturing layer 7 whereby the objective ammonia-capturing wall paper is obtained.
