PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room temp. curing and one liquid type non-aqueous resin compsn. having excellent pigment dispersion, storage stability, and pot life as a vehicle for paint, and improving film performances such as adhesion, water resistance, alkali resistance, solvent resistance, and weatherability, especially, weatherability, solvent resistance, and adhesion of a film. SOLUTION: This non-aqueous resin compsn. contains an org. solvent composed mainly of an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent and/or an alicyclic hydrocarbon solvent (A), at least one copolymer (B) sol. in the org. solvent (A), a minute particle of a polymer or a copolymer (c) insol. in the org. solvent (A), and a metal chelate compd. (D), and the copolymer (B) and the minute particle of a polymer or a copolymer (C) also contain a pendant branched chain represented by the formula or the pendant branched chain contg. a higher unsaturated aliphatic group. In the formula, R1 is a 2-17C alkylene group and n is 1-10.
