PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time between charge of a powder and granular material to be treated and output of the material and to decrease a system scale. SOLUTION: In a powder and granular material heat treatment furnace having a furnace body 12 to effect heat treatment of a powder and granular material 1 to be heated, the furnace body is provided with a heating flat plate 11 having an upper surface to heat a material to be treated; a material to be treated placing means 15 to place a material to be treated on a heating flat plate in a thin layer-form manner; a material to be treated pushing out means 15 to push the material to be treated on the heating flat plate from a peripheral edge to the outside for drop; and an output port 33 which is arranged in a state to be opened to a position where the material to be treated is dropped by the material to be treated pushing out means and through which the material to be treated is outputted from the furnace body.
