PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the adhesion of various materials to the inner surface of a tube so as to hardly cause the internal clog by introducing a hydrophilic group to at least the inner surface of the tube. SOLUTION: A PTFE stored tube is dipped in a reforming medium 3 within a vessel 2, and ultraviolet ray 5 is irradiated thereto. The energy of the ultraviolet ray 5 absorbed in the stored tube 1 is absorbed by a chemical bond constituting a fluorine resin, particularly, C-F bond or C-F3 bond connected to -C main chain skeleton, and the bond is cut to separate F. On the other hand, since the reforming medium 3 is pure water, the ultraviolet ray 5 is absorbed by O-H bond and mostly decomposed to H and OH. Since the atom or radical made free by cutting the bond is chemically unstable, it is apt to recombine with the other atom or radical. Since the recombination preferentially advances from the combination having a high bond energy, H and F are preferentially recombined, and OH is recombined to C. Consequently, the inner surface 1b of the indwelling tube 1 is reformed to hydrophilic property. |
