PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover feeder of inexpensive constitution dealing with either of the bookbinding of large number of copies or the bookbinding of small number of copies. SOLUTION: A large number of copies of covers of same content is placed on a cover feeder in the state of removing a cover carrying tool 1 from a cover feed stand (k), and covers are sucked by a succor J and transferred to a cover fitting section C1, and paper bundles and covers are bound on a nip plate (g) and a back plate (h). For the feeding of covers for the purpose of bookbinding one copy or a small number of copies, the cover carrying tool 1 is placed on the cover feed stand (k), and power is transmitted by a timing pulley 14a fixed on an output shaft of a motor and a belt 12 to rotate carrying rollers 11a and 11b. The covers are clamped between the carrying rollers 11a, 11b and press rollers 21a, 21b, carried on a surface plate 3 along a guide 4 and transferred to a cover fitting section C1 by the succor (j). |
