SOLUTION: A plurality of screw holes 16 are disposed on the same circumference of a lock washer 6 at an equal interval. Three holes 15, 17, 19 are provided on the same circumference as a screw hole 16 of the lock washer 6 of an adjusting nut 5 at every one parallel portion of the hexagonal nut a an equal angle. A hole 15a is provided on a right side of the holes 15, 17, 19 at the interval ofθ1 and a hole 15b is provided on a left side of the holes 15, 17, 19 at the interval ofθ2. For example, in the case where the hole 15a of the nut 5 is at the nearest position to the screw hole position A of the lock washer 6, a bolt is mounted to the hole 15a, and in the case where the hole 15a is at the nearest position to the position B, the bolt is mounted at the position B. Thereby, the pre-load adjustment of a taper bearing can be carried out at a high accuracy.
