PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purifier whose filter frame body is produced from economical materials, assembled by simplified assembling processes at lowered manufacturing cost, and is enabled to easily disassemble filter units. SOLUTION: Filters (a deodorization filter and an electrostatic filter 35) composing a filter unit 30 for purifying air are housed in a frame body 36 made of paper. The filter unit 30 is also housed in a filter unit installation part of an air purifier main body. Handling pieces 43a, 43b capable of freely being stood up and falling down are formed unitedly in the frame body 36. Consequently, no costly felt type frame is required and complicated hot-melt adhesion process is unnecessary and assembling processes are simplified. Moreover, another case for taking out the filter unit is not required to lower the cost. Further, the filter unit can easily be taken out of the filter unit installation part by holding the handling parts.
