PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and easily produce a carbon aqueous emulsion and to attain reduction in production cost. SOLUTION: This production comprises: subjecting a gas contg. carbon to combustion under oxygen-deficient conditions; positively charging carbon grains C in smoke generated by the combustion; subjecting negatively ionized water W to superhigh-pressure spraying on the carbon grains C to bring the ionized water W into contact with the carbon grains C; circulating a carbon aqueous emulsion CW formed by emulsifying the carbon grains C and ionized water W, being in contact with each other, to enhance the carbon concn. in the emulsion CW; subjecting the carbon aqueous emulsion CW having thus enhanced carbon concn. to intensive agitation, to promote grain-size reduction of the carbon grains C and to form finer carbon grains in the emulsion CW; and thereafter, subjecting the resulting emulsion CW to a treatment such as neutralization treatment or precipitate treatment N, to remove impurities other than carbon. |
