PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce abrasion of worm gears by a function of force or heat and transmit high force by engaging a worm of a worm driving mechanism with the worm gears symmetrically disposed to a rotating shaft of the worm and having at least two parallel shafts. SOLUTION: A worm 12 is engaged with worm gears 13, 14 symmetrically disposed relative to a rotating shaft of the worm 12 and having parallel shafts. Cylindrical gears 15, 16 are connected to the worm gears 13, 14 respectively and are engaged with each other. A pitch circle of the cylindrical gears 15, 16 is positioned in the tangent direction relative to a central longitudinal plane of the worm 12. Journals 18, 19 are provided on the opposed side of the worm gears 13, 14 to an electric motor 11. A journal is provided on the cylindrical gears 15, 16 on the opposite side to the electric motor 11. Rolling bearings 17 are mounted on each journal. |
