PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject formulation having a specific value of pH and relatively high hydrolytic properties and capable of suppressing the decomposition of an active ingredient by including a sulfonylurea-based herbicidally active compound, a fatty acid ester and water. SOLUTION: This formulation has pH <=6 and contains (A) a sulfonylurea- based herbicidally active compound (preferably halosulfuronmethyl), (B) a fatty acid ester (preferably the one having a 10-20C fatty acid moiety, especially preferably an oleic ester) and (C) water. The content of the ingredient A is preferably 0.1-50 wt.% based on the formulation and the content of the ingredient B is preferably 1-20 wt.% in the formulation. The pH of the formulation is preferably regulated by using a method, etc., for adding prescribed amounts of various inorganic acids or organic acids and salts or esters thereof to the formulation. Thereby, the active compound can be stabilized during the preservation of the formulation. |
