AGROCHEMICAL GRANULES FOR WATER SURFACE APPLICATION AND GRANULAR CARRIER FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agrochemical granules for application on water surface having improved floating rate on water surface capable of applying in low dose by including a liquid having a specific gravity including a water soluble solid salt of an organic acid and an agrochemical component slightly soluble in water. SOLUTION: The granular carrier including the water-soluble solid organic salt [alkaline (earth) metal compounds or the like of organic acid selected from an aromatic carboxylic acid, an aliphatic carboxylic acid or an aromatic sulfonic acid, preferably having 50 to 350 of molecular weight] is obtained. This carrier is used for the improvement of the floating rate of the effective agrochemical component of the agrochemical granules for water surface application. The preferable amount of formulation of the water-soluble salt of the organic acid is 25 to 100% in the granular carrier. The binder having water dissolving rate higher than that of the water-soluble solid salt of the organic acid is preferably included in this granular carrier. The preferable specific gravity of the granular carrier or the solution including the water soluble solid salt of the organic acid and the agrochemical effective component slightly soluble in water is >=1.0.
