PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely change a control condition at the time of printing by conforming to a type of a label roll. SOLUTION: A separation roller block 23 for supporting a separation roller 28 is detachably mounted to an open cover 22. A part 43 to be detected is set to the separation roller block 23. A sensor 44 for detecting the part 43 is set to a main body case 21. It is checked from an output of the sensor whether or not the separation roller block 23 is mounted to the open cover 22. When the separation roller block 23 is mounted, a control condition at the time of printing is conformed to a label paper with a liner. If the separation roller block 23 is not mounted, the control condition at the time of printing is conformed to a label printer without liners. Accordingly, when a user sets, detaches the separation roller block 23 upon necessities even without intentionally changing the control condition at the time of printing, the control condition appropriate for printing to each paper roll R is set. |
