<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door lock for an automobile for facilitating the simple manufacture of an automobile door equipped with the door lock. SOLUTION: This automobile door lock is equipped with a preassembled lock module 2 and a lock supporter 3. The lock module 2 is arranged in a hollow chamber 6 of an automobile door and fixed in the rear end area of the automobile door, a lock latch 4 and a lock claw 5 being operateably fixed to the lock supporter 3. The door lock is further equipped with a wall area 9 to define the hollow chamber 6 from the inside, the wall area 9 has a through port 10, transmission elements 14, 19 connected to the lock module 2 pass through this through port 10 and extend to a lock operation element 12 arranged outside the hollow chamber 6. After the assembling of the lock module 2, the area of the lock module covers the through hole, the transmission elements 14, 19 connected to the lock operation element 12 pass the through port 10 and are connected to the elements 13, 20 of the lock module 2.</p> |
