PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the sunshine on the indoor side in winter and to dry the laundry in a short time by providing a sunroom covered with a transparent plate on the nearly whole face of an outer wall section at the corner section of a house, and installing a drying unit in the sunroom vertically movably from a ceiling section. SOLUTION: Multiple vertical frames 28 and horizontal frames 29 are arranged at prescribed intervals respectively on outer wall sections in two directions at a corner section of a house, plate glasses 27 are fitted to the gaps between adjacent vertical and horizontal frames 28, 29 to form a sunroom 13, and a drying unit 31 is fitted to the ceiling section of the sunroom vertically movable. The drying unit 31 is constituted of a folding arm mechanism 33, a connecting member 34 and a frame 35. When an operation bar 56 fitted to the lower section of the connecting member 34 is pulled downward, the coupled state between a coupling member 47 and a locking member 46 locking the folding arm mechanism 33 at the upper position is released, and the drying unit 31 is lowered. The laundry can be dried in the sunroom 13 having good sunshine in a relatively short time.
