PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a sufficiently value for the value of differential roll rigidity within the range of constraints in layout, and to realize low rigidity for a differential mount. SOLUTION: A mounting structure of a differential gear is constructed in such a manner that in totally three places including two front places positioned left and right around the center line of a propeller shaft and one rear place positioned in the left side from the center line O, a differential case 1 is mounted on a car body via insulators 4, 5 and 6, and if the last gear ratio of a gear mechanism incorporated in the differential case 1 is I, a gap in the direction of the center line between the front insulator and the rear insulator is L and the amount of shifting from the center line of the rear insulator is M, differential roll rigidity is set equal to a specified value or higher when I=L/M is set. In this case, assuming that the rigidity of the front left insulator in the upper and lower direction of a vehicle is Kf1 and the rigidity of the front right insulator in the upper and lower direction of the vehicle is Kfr, Kfr>KfI is set with (L/M)>I, and Kfr<KfI is set with (L/M)<I.
