PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject product capable of rapidly and smoothly carrying out locking operations and unlocking operations without any fear of applying a great wind pressure to a chin part of a user due to no rising of an auxiliary hat body covering the chin part of the user even by performing unlocking through mistake by providing a specific constitution. SOLUTION: This hat body attached to the head of a helmet user is composed by liftably and lowerably attaching an auxiliary hat body 6 capable of selectively covering a chin part of the helmet user to a caplike main hat body 5. A locking mechanism 21 for locking the auxiliary hat body 6 into the main hat body 5 when the auxiliary hat body 6 is located at a lowered position for covering the chin part is installed in the hat body. An unlocking operation member 22 for performing the reciprocation for the unlocking is provided in the auxiliary hat body 6. Furthermore, the reciprocating direction of the unlocking operation member 22 can be regulated so as to afford an acute angle from the lowering direction of the auxiliary hat body 6 to thereby unlock the auxiliary hat body 6 only when the member 22 is pressed into the reciprocating direction. As a result, the auxiliary hat body 6 can be lifted to a lifted position.
