<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitness apparatus allowing various kinds of exercise including not only the exercise of the lower part of the body but also the exercise of the upper part of the body while ensuring combined effects and being excellent in serviceability. SOLUTION: Right and left treads 2 are mounted on a base 1 via a mounting shaft 2a in such a way as to be capable of being pressed by feet while rotating vertically and alternately. The treads 2 are supported by cylinders 3 and given load resistance. 4 is a handle, attached to the base 1 by a pivot 4a. The handle 4 is tilted selectively to the front or rear and fixed in place. 5 is a chair, mounted in the waist position (height) of the handle 4.</p> |
