PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the increase of a load acting on the ankle of an occupant's foot at a collision time. SOLUTION: The footrest 14 molded by a resin material is arranged on both ends lower parts of the car width direction of a dash panel 12 and front/ rear two cylindrical installation parts 16, 18 from the upper wall 14C of a footrest 14 toward the dash panel 12 are installed erectingly. The caps 20 having some spaces 24 are inserted in these installation parts 16, 18 respectively and bolts 26 for installing are screwed on the caps 20. The thickness T1 of the installation part 16 of a vehicular frontside is thinner than the thickness T2 of the installation part 18 of a vehicular rearside and the frontside of the footrest 14 is deformed bucklingly and easily in comparison with the rearside at a collision time.
