摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a coating film on a cylindrical conductive base material without roughening the surface of the base material. SOLUTION: In a photoreceptor drum 1 constituted by providing at least a photosensitive layer on a cylindrical conductive base material, a coating film such as a photosensitive layer is removed by laser beam irradiation from a laser beam source part 3. The laser beam source part 3 is constituted so that power of a laser beam can be adjusted. In order to remove the coating film, while rotating the photoreceptor drum 1 around the rotation symmetrical axis thereof, a pulse laser beam or a continuous laser beam irradiates the coating film plural times. Particularly, the irradiation strengths of the laser beams are differentiated from each other each time, and particularly, the irradiation strength of each laser beam is weakened with an increase in the number of times of irradiation. Furthermore, plural continuous laser beams are irradiated to the coating film at the same time. Particularly, the irradiation strengths of the continuous laser beams are differentiated from each other.
