PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hardly cause a blister and a pinhole to a coating film and to reduce an energy cost at the time of drying a coating film formed on the surface of a matter to be coated. SOLUTION: The coating film is heated from the interior side by irradiating the coating film formed on the surface of the matter 1 to be coated with mid infrared rays using a mid infrared electric heater 2 at a mid infrared zone A. The solvent and the moisture incorporated in the coating film is evaporated by this heating to release gas to the atmosphere and also the coating film is cured. When the coating film from which the gas is released is heated, since the character of the infrared rays is not restricted, far infrared rays by a combustion gas heater 3 is used. In this way, an energy cost is reduced.
