PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gutter cover mounting clip which can easily mount a cover over a gutter which includes a rib having a circular cross section (round shaft rib), or a rib having an almost rectangular cross section (angular shaft rib). SOLUTION: A gutter cover mounting clip is made of a synthetic resin, and has a first gripping section on one side thereof and a second stage fitting portion 6b on the other side. The first gripping section is made up of a pair of internal and external clamp pieces 2a, 2b for fitting on a frame 9 of a mesh cover 8. The clamp pieces are curved to form an incomplete circle such that they can fit on the round shaft frame 9 of the mesh cover, which has a circular cross section, and they have an elastic restoring force imparted thereto. The second stage fitting portion 6b is made up of a pair of internal and external clamp pieces 4, 5. The external clamp piece 5 is made up of a base portion 5a, an extended portion 5b, and a folded clamp piece 5c facing the internal clamp piece. The second stage fitting portion 6b is curved at the base portion and the internal clamp piece. The extended portion and the folded support portion form a cove-like first stage fitting portion 6a therein, whereby the first stage and the second stage fitting portions can fit on an angular shaft rib of the gutter by virtue of the elasticity thereof.
