PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the operation of the exchange, carrying or the like of an electrode by inserting an electrode toward an electrode set position from the outside, loading the orientation of the electrode and loading the electrode to the set position. SOLUTION: A cover part 9 is detached. An electrode 3 is inserted from the upper direction of the treating tank 2 along the side wall part 8 inclined with an angleθ, and the lower end of the electrode 3 is allowed to arrival at the stretched-out part of a fixed jig 4. Next, the electrode 3 is rotated by the electrode angleθin the sheet face of the electrode 3, and its state is made to be the perpendicular one. After that, the electrode 3 is brought from the notched part 4D of the fixed jig 4 to the groove part 4c and, as it is, translated along the groove part 4C to a prescribed set position. Such an operation is successively executed to each electrode 3. The unloading of the electrode 3 is operated in a reverse order. As for the preferable form of the electrode 3, it preferable has a clamping part for carrying serving also as an energizing means. In the case the electrode 3 is rotatably moved, it is rotated with the corner part of the electrode 3 as a supporting point, so that the principle of leverage is made to advantageously be worked by the clamping part for carrying.
