PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject filament yarn with such feel of touch as to be soft and excellent in spun feeling by rendering its puffy feeling proper and providing twists. SOLUTION: This special filament yarn is a combined polyester filament yarn with loops and/or loosenesses composed of at least two polyester filaments (components A and B); wherein the component A has a boiling water shrinkage of >=7% and dry heat shrinkage of >=10%, while the component B has a primary yield point tenacity of <=1.0 g/d, primary yield point elongation of <=5%, breaking tenacity of >=2.5 g/d, elongation at break of >=50%, and constant stress extension region elongation of 5-30%, and exhibits no substantial elongation by heat treatment.
