PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stern drive unit structured to prevent the lubricant conduit for feeding lubricating oil from its reservoir tank to the lubricating oil chamber from being cut by unexpected force irrespective of ordinary material and structure for constituting the stern drive unit. SOLUTION: A lubricating oil conduit 32 that communicates a lubricating oil reservoir tank 31 with a lubricating oil chamber 21a is communicated with the lubricating oil chamber 21a through the engine exhaust passage 105 formed from the lubricating oil reservoir tank to be within a gimbal assembly 10. As the conduit 32 is not exposed outside, it does not get tangled with weeds nor dust on the water or it is not cut by the external force. |
