PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-grade yo-yo top which can be operated with combinations of various high-level techniques for a yo-yo and a top so that it can move freely on the floor just like a spinning top without limited to the play using a simple combination of upward/downward movements as an ordinary yo-yo, and to provide a spinning top with the same structure as that of the high-grade yo-yo top. SOLUTION: This yo-yo top has the main bodies 1a and 1b with a bearing 6 inserted between the main bodies and attached with a bolt 4 and bearings 7a and 7b inserted coaxially with the bearing 6 on the outer surfaces of the outer lids 2a and 2b respectively of the yo-yo main bodies. Support bolts 5a and 5b are capped with rotary protrusions 3a and 3b respectively, and protrusions 10a, 10b, etc., are combined on the inner surfaces of the main bodies 1a and 1b. Such combinations of bearings are also attached to the spinning top, and the rotation movement of the spinning top main body 11 and the movement of the pivot 12 are made to be independent.
