PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a mixed silicic acid salt as a tightening agent in an anti- wrinkle cosmetic composition, since some kind of an inorganic compound, i.e., the mixed silicic acid salt as a dispersion in an acidic medium, has an excellent action of smoothing the surface layer of a skin instantly. SOLUTION: This use of a mixed silicic acid salt as a tightening agent in an acidic pH in an anti-wrinkle cosmetic composition, is to apply the salt in 3% concentration in water of an acidic pH, dry, and then form a steam penetrable film capable of generating the shrinkage of an isolated corneal layer by >=1.5%. In order to reduce the wrinkle and/or fine lines instantly, the mixed silicic acid salt is used in an acidic pH as a tightening agent for tensing and smoothing the skin.
